Design Recognition
Our work has been recognized by numerous organizations and publications including the American Institute of Architecture, Architecture Magazine, Architectural Record, Interior Architecture, Metropolitan Home, and San Francisco Magazine. In 2003, Contract Magazine recognized Peter Pfau as the “designer of the Year.” Other notable work derives from Peter Pfau’s partnership in Hold Hinshaw Pfau Jones. During the firm’s six year existence, Mr. Pfau’s work rose to international prominence as a result of numbers architectural awards and successful competition entries. Among the archievements is the Astronauts Memorial at the Kennedy Space Center, won as a result of a national competition in 1988, and later dedicated as the 25th National Memorial. In addition to awards, our strengths as designers have been acknowledged by a string of repeat clients. Our design approach is inclusive and seeks to produce architecture that integrates aesthetics with the functinoal, technical, economic requirements of our projects.
